Terms & Conditions

Veranera Hostel has the following check-in and check-out times and policies:

Check-In: 15:00 - 21:00
Check-Out: 11:00

Late check-in is possible, please contact us prior to arrival so we can arrange this request. You may use the Veranera Hostel facilities from 9am if you arrive earlier than your check-in time. You can chill-out in our common areas until then. We have a storage area in our reception where you can leave your belongings until the room is ready. The same is applied for after check-out time, you may store your luggage with us and use our common areas until 9 pm of check-out date. Please inform Veranera Hostel in advance of your expected arrival time.

Rates and Cancellation Policies

The reservation may be cancelled free of charge until 3 days before arrival, except when stated otherwise.*

If the reservation is cancelled less than 3 days before arrival or in case of "no show", the cancellation fee will be the cost of the first night, except when stated otherwise*.

* Veranera Hostel reserves the right to apply the Non Refundable policy on any date of the year depending on availability and events that may pop up.

Bookings of more than 500 Euro for shared dorms:

For any high value reservation for our shared dorms, we charge 50% upon reservation and the remaining 50% 7 days before arrival. Both payments are non-refundable in case of cancellation.

All prices include IVA.

Documents

A passport or European ID card is required for check-in.

Stag and Hen Parties

We do not accept reservations for bachelor parties. Veranera Hostel reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who has booked and is a part of one.

Groups

Special rates and policies apply for groups of more than 6 people, please contact us via email at info@veranerahostel.com. Veranera Hostel reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who has booked as a group without first contacting us to make the correct reservation.

Room Reservations

If you are travelling with family or friends, we will do our best to accommodate everyone in the same shared room, however we cannot guarantee this. If you want to make sure that you are all together, we suggest that you book a full shared room.

Payment

Please note that we only accept payments in cash and with VISA or Mastercard. We do not accept American Express, Diners Club or any other card.If the name of the card used to make the reservation is different from the name of the person who is going to stay, we will ask you to send us a copy of the card as well as an identity document of the card's owner. If we do not receive this documentation by the time of check-in, the guest will be asked to make full payment for the stay with their own credit card.

Access key

When booking a shared or private room, magnetic cards will be provided. In the event of loss of the keycard, the guest will be charged 10 Euros.

Dispute Resolution/Problems

The comfort and safety of our guests is very important to us. Any guest who, in the opinion of our staff, compromises the comfort or safety of other guests, staff or local residents will be invited to leave our facility and no refund will be issued. Guests are expected to respect other guests as well as staff, local residents and the property.

No Smoking

Smoking is not allowed inside the Veranera Hostel building. Smoking is only allowed outside on our rooftop or completely outside of the property. Any guest that smokes inside will be sanctioned up to 200 Euro fine and may be invited to leave the premises. In that case no refund will be issued.

No Drugs

Drugs are illegal in Spain. If any guest consumes drugs anywhere in the building they will be forced to leave the premises. No refund will be given.

Alcohol Consumption

No alcohol is served to persons under 18 years of age. Alcohol is available at the bar and can only be consumed there and in the areas designated for that purpose. Due to our bar on the rooftop, guests are only allowed to bring their own alcohol to consume inside our kitchen or dining room; only wine or beer are allowed in this case (no high-content alcohol allowed).

Personal belongings

For each bed in the shared dorms there is a locker for small valuables. Veranera Hostel is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to guest property. We recommend that you bring a padlock to secure your personal belongings inside the locker. If you do not have one, you may ask for one at our reception and we will charge you a 10 Euros deposit.

Damage to Veranera Hostel property

The establishment will ask guests who cause any damage due to inappropriate behaviour during their stay to take responsibility for the damage. The corresponding amount will be charged to the guests' credit card.

Responsibility

Except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, Veranera Hostel's liability remains, at all times, limited to the value of the reserved services, excluding any modification fees paid to us.

Use of Personal Information

To use some of the services, the user must previously provide certain personal data. Veranera Hostel will automatically process this data and apply the corresponding security measures, all in compliance with the RGPD, LOPDGDD and LSSI. The User can access the policy followed in the processing of personal data, as well as the establishment of the previously established purposes, under the conditions defined in the Privacy Policy.
